The SRA Standards and Regulations 2019 permit freelance solicitors to provide both reserved and non-reserved legal services directly to clients with and without professional indemnity insurance respectively. I have listed below those legal services that I can provide directly to you. However, there are reserved legal services that can be provided by me but via an SRA-regulated firm of solicitors. Therefore, clients are additionally protected by the Professional Indemnity Insurance of the regulated firm for such reserved legal services.

I do not hold client money. Therefore, I do not provide services that involve the holding of client money or checking anti-money laundering regulations, or the following reserved legal services that I will provide via an SRA-regulated firm with whom I work as a consultant: -

1. conveyancing services involving selling and buying property;

2. litigation;

3. business and share sale where holding client money is involved; and

4. any other contentious or high-risk reserved legal services.
